dear sir how do we take ratio of std sales per unit if quantity or sales are like 640, 260, 330 of 3 products please tell me easiest way to find std per unit if figures are like this.
i solved kaplan question and in that question quantities were like 600 kgs 240 and 360 its divided by 1200 and i’m confused why its divided by 1200 to find the ratio std per unit of every product quantity which is like 0.5 ,0.2 and 0.3
The total is 600 + 240 + 360 = 1,200.
So for every 1,200 kgs, 600 of them will be the first product. 600 out of 1,200 is 600/1200 = 50% (or 0.5) of the total.
Similarly for the other two products.
