can you please explain what does mean of pervasive in Materiality?
Pervasive means found everywhere or affecting everywhere.
So, you could enter an old building and find a smell of rotting wood pervasive. Every room is affected.
A material misstatement (or lack of evidence) is so serious that the FS are effectively useless. A material but not pervasive misstatement means the error can be confined to one area of the FS and some use can be madd of the rest.
