Hello,
What proportion of the marks do you get if for example you use the wrong exchange rate to calculate the NPV and BSOP and you base your theory answer on these workings?
I have been practising lots of questions but I never get the NPV correct, this is sometimes due to getting some of the cashflow figures or the cost of capital figures wrong.
I have failed twice both at 46%.
Many thanks for your reply.
Regards
Maureen
You do not lose marks for the same mistake twice.
So if you get the arithmetic wrong, but answer the written part correctly based on your figures for the arithmetic part then you can still get full marks for the written part.
