    hi
if a procedure or evidence question is for 4 marks.

and just to be on the safe side i wrote 1 or 2 procedures extra(as each correct point is 1 mark)
will the marker just check the first 4 for 4 marks and ignore any extra points written?. or check all of the point and give marks for only the relevant points ?

i just wanted to know this, as would i be wasting my time just by writing an extra point just incase one of my points didnt score any marks.(obviously given i have time and a point in mind).

“check all of the point and give marks for only the relevant points ?” is correct – up to the available maximum

I always recommend putting in one or two substitutes

the problem comes when an examiner asks “Name three weaknesses and …”

Then you are being limited to just three

But of course you can make a mistake with your numbering

    1) The petty cash …

    2) The system surrounding the processing of purchase orders …

    2) Unclaimed wages are not …

    3) The lack of an asset register ….

    or …..

    1) The petty cash system when considered in conjunction with the system surrounding the processing of purchase orders …

    2) Unclaimed wages are not …

    3) The lack of an asset register ….

But if there is no limit specified, by all means put in an extra one or two … but don’t go for over-kill
