    Mr John,
if question asks to describe TWO methods of something (e.g. how managers can manipulate situations to gain targets and bonuses). And marking scheme provides 2.5 marks for each idea. But if I am not sure in my two methods and decided to provide THREE or FOUR methods, will I increase my chanses to earn full marks? (Is it worth to provide 3rd and 4th methods..?)

    Thank you

If they ask for two of something, then they will only give marks for two.
However if you do think of more then do list them (provided it does not waste much time) – the reason being is that it could be that one of yours is actually not sensible and they will mark the best two 🙂

The only thing is obviously to make sure you do not waste much time trying to think of more than two. But if a third comes into your head then do write it down 🙂
