Sir in the exam for section A,B and C are marks given in average or not? e.g in section A, we get a 2 mark question and we have to select 2 options if we select 1 wrong and other right do we loss 2 marks or just 1? Does this apply to all the sections? And what if it is a matching tiles type question giving 4 options?
In Sections A and B, each question is 2 marks and you get either 2 marks for getting it completely right or 0 marks if it is wrong (even if it is partly right).
In Section C whether you are providing full answers, each part of the workings is marked separately even if the final answer is wrong – you can see how section C questions are marked by looking at the last page of past exam answers on the ACCA website, which gives the marking scheme.
