    Dear John,

I recently watched an exam techniques video and it was stated that if a question specifies it would like 2 suggestions.

The first 2 will be marked by examiner and all others after that will not be regarded, please confirm if this is correct.

    I am not convinced.

    Many thanks

You will not get extra marks for giving (say) three suggestions.

However, if you make three suggestions and the first is right, the second is rubbish, but the third is right, then there is no reason why you should not get the full marks (they will read all your suggestions).
