I wanted to ask how the examiners would mark our papers.
For eg. If the question asks for 4 substantive tests and I provide 6, will they all be marked? I understand that the maximum mark I can get from the question would still be 4 but if I get 2 of the 6 wrong will I get the 4 full marks?
I am very fast when it comes to multiple choice so I am confident I would have a little bit of spare time even after accounting for rechecking. So I was wondering if I could add more answers as backup if my others are wrong
If you gave 6 points when only 4 are required and get 2 wrong you should still get full marks as there is no negative marking. However, we are all human and you might well irritate the marker by causing more work; in addition there is a risk that your wrong points obscure the correct ones.
Better to stick to what’s asked unless you are really unsure about some.
