Dear Mr John,
You have included in your tips for December 13 sitting market efficiency, to be honest, I am not quite sure under which topic this is covered, is it sources of finance ? Can you please clarify more what you mean by market efficiency?
Many Thanks!
Maha
Mr John – Also, could you please explain the 3 forms of market efficiency (briefly)? I just came across that in my revision kit in (sources of finance) questions and I read the answer but not quite sure about it.
Thank you very much.
Maha
hi there, i think market efficiencies considers the following
1. Weak Form – Share prices reflect info about all past price movts.
2. Semi Strong – Share price incorporates all past info and all publicly available info
3. Strong Form – Share prices incorporates all info, public or private including info not yet published.
this is a small topic but a little bit confusing
hope this helps,
