Dear sir,
When talking abt Marginal costing, wouldnt it be better to say tht to produce an additional item only “Direct Costs” will be affected rather than using the “Variable cost” terminology?No it would not.
All variable production costs are relevant, including variable overheads (which are not direct costs).
