Hello Sir,
I was just attempting the past paper and was confessed about QA (i) requirement.
It asks to calculate the value of each of Kawa co share if it demerged. So I guess the value of equity?
Why have they calculated the cost of capital? As it doesn’t say the requirement to calculate this?
Sorry I didn’t understand the requirement or perhaps the bigger picture

I was not thinking, It was needed for free cash flow as df. As the valuation was supposed to be based on free cash flow.
