Hi sir, for march/june 2017 exam question 18(b), regarding the deficiency that states” the wage rate was increased by the HR director and he notified the payroll supervisor by email”

In the answer key, it is stated that the payroll supervisor can make changes to the payroll syanding data without authorisation. But there was no such statememt saying such. So, could you explain how this point was derived sir?

Also, what is wrong in the wage rate increase being notified through email ?

The answer key states that it should be communicated in writing. How is this better off than a email ?

I don’t really agree with either of the points made in the answer.

Then what should be part of the answer instead sir ? The notification of the pay rise through email is not a deficiency ?
