    Hey guys,
In the RI questions, your results was 690? If my memory is still good, the figures was PBIT=1900 and Capital Employed 11,000, and 11% of cost of capital , so I juts calculated: 1900-1210= 690. I was confusing with other information they provided in the question…
Someone else got the same answer?

    7) they can be.

Labour was fully utilised so I said that all units of the special order had to be bought in. I did cost out the variable costs and show that it would have been way cheaper to make rather than buy but yeah. Please tell me you got the same lol

I did the left one you save less per hour than the right so you should make all the right, and buy as many left of the one on the left, think it was cabinets on the left, so buy 9000 cabinets

I said very similar. Worked out the contribution per limiting factor for both & ranked but labour was fully utilised so both products had to be bought

I swear on the shelves or whatever it was it was actually cheaper to buy in than make and for the cabinets there was a saving, so make all the cabinets in house, then with remaining labour make rest in house of shelves and import 4,500 shelves. I wasn’t 100% sure though

How did people feel on the section c questions involving variances & NFPI/FPI?

From what I can remember I had the mix & yield variances as adverse, if anyone thought similar?

For the NFPI/FPI, as it was my first exam, can someone point me on the marking structure? Rather than state the operating profit (for example) for both periods, I stated the increase YOY, slightly worried incase I had to show both & it got me stressing! Thanks 🙂 hope it went well for you all!
