There was a multiple choice question that had something to do with renting printers, in my opinion was not clear enough. I honestly did not understand what was required.
March 7, 2024 at 6:08 pm #702328Looks I messed up my MOS and probably lost all 20 marks ?
March 7, 2024 at 7:27 pm #702337Transfer pricing which type of question was it ?
March 7, 2024 at 8:04 pm #702341I had the multiple choice as my first question about the printing. I worked out the sales revenue and then deduct the variable cost one of the answer they would have made a loss the other one they would B/E and then I used the next figure as it said minimum profit figure or something. Confused me being the first question as not seen anything like that before
March 7, 2024 at 8:05 pm #702342I messed up on my MOS but my question it was only 5 marks? And it also asked you to discuss it so I do not believe all of the marks were just for the calculation. You always get follow on marks as long as you show your workings
March 8, 2024 at 5:23 am #702357I did my things, I got 98.56. Not confident with that answer…..
March 8, 2024 at 5:31 am #702361I think the answer was zero based budgeting because there were fluctuations in costs(cost increasing).
This question was a trap! Because the rest of the question focused on rolling budget….
I choose zero based budget and then changed to rolling budget.
So far the only question I’m sure I failed……
March 8, 2024 at 5:41 am #702363Sec B I got Rolling/Zero budget.
The was first question on this part asked the suitable budget to be used! This was a TRAP since the rest questions focused on rolling budget….
I choose zero based and then last minute review I changed to rolling budget! So far I’m sure I lost 2 marks…
The scenario was the company experienced fluctuations in costs(cost increasing); so this is supposed to zero based budgeting.
Comrades! what’s your thoughts on this
March 8, 2024 at 6:41 am #702365I also had CVP and performance measurement of a hospital for section C. I was able to get by and got the weighted average as 0.571 or so. But when it came to section b that was a disaster for me. I stumbled on throughput and on the rolling budget aspect but I think the risk and uncertainty with decision trees I was able to get by. I’m just hoping what i have done is enough to get me the 50%….
March 8, 2024 at 7:40 am #702382The question of Throughput Accounting ratio in section B
Can any one reveal the correct answer
I just put an answer
Any answer you remember
One was on the TPAR
One was on the budgeted profit
Highly appreciated for any answer
ThanksMarch 8, 2024 at 10:35 am #702393I just guessed all my answes on the throughput question of Section B (I believe you are asking about that factory one)
Does anyone remember the answer of the decision tree question? I believe two of the questions were related to decision tree.March 8, 2024 at 10:39 am #702394And also, does anyone remember the theory part of the rolling budget question?
March 8, 2024 at 1:45 pm #702405Yes, the factory one
No , i did not get decision treeMarch 8, 2024 at 5:15 pm #702429Yes something related to market research and focus group, I was confused btw these two options and then selected focus group
March 8, 2024 at 5:21 pm #702430Even I was also confused in the optimal profit answer of Throughput accounting does anyone else remember what was the correct answer?
March 8, 2024 at 5:40 pm #702433I put rolling budget as well.
The thing is that it was not stated in the question whether they were actually using a rolling budget.
And I also thought about ZBB
March 8, 2024 at 5:42 pm #702434Section B got rolling budget, which was a disaster. Then life cycle costing and CVP
Section C got Fitzgerald and Moon model and operational and planning variances.
Anyone got these questions pls?
March 8, 2024 at 5:42 pm #702435Anyone got 2500 adverse?
March 9, 2024 at 7:13 am #702474You know the answer of the ratio ?
TPAR in section B ?March 9, 2024 at 9:00 am #702498Didn’t think throughput accounting questions would be the ones that would chew up all my marks 🙁
Anyway hoping for the best. Praying we all pass this exam.March 11, 2024 at 2:38 pm #702789I had a TPAR one in Section B. I calculated it to be 1.75.
March 12, 2024 at 7:30 am #702888What was the optimum profit then ?
For the TPAR in section B based on your calculationMarch 12, 2024 at 7:47 am #702889i got 1.40 in TPAR
