    How did you calculated the tax amount. For each clinic. Was it supposed to be calculated on the remaining salary after welfare cost or on the salary amounts

    I had the sugar and soybean section C question which asked to calculate operational and planning variances. Then a smaller question asking about manager performance relating to those previous variance answers. That bit said about 2 extra marks for other calculations but I wasn’t sure what other calculations they would be, does anyone know?

    Other section C was a 14 mark discussion about profitability/turnover/quality of service/employee satisfaction at (something like) “Meylitt Company”

    @liz.cush

    Where your variances favorable or adverse?

    And i believe the additional calculations would have been the total material variances (usage+price) i only remembered this after the exam lol

    When I see comments here, it takes me back to those days when I sat for this paper, being pretty much nervous about what I did in the exam. Luckily I cleared the exam in December 22 session. This paper is full of surprises, best wishes to all of you !! I passed the exam leaving 9 marks. So keep your hopes alive candidates. Wishing you all the best !!

    Ai) work out fixed costs and variable costs per person.

    Aii) was find breakeven point and margin of safety I think? I might be wrong here

    B) I think was separate and you were asked to work out the weighted average contribution

    C) what are the limitations of CVP
