    Hello sir

    I will appearing for p7 in March 2018 .
However, my BPP text and kit are valid for exams up-to June 2017.
Is it okay if I use these books?
Also could you let me know if there are any changes in the syllabus then I’ll look into it separately .
This will be my third attempt to clear the paper after my last attempt in Sept 17 , have there been any changes since then please let me know .

    Thanks .

The only changes are in the IFRSs that have been introduced (15 and 16) and the removal of some IASs (11, 17 and 18)

I can’t remember when the new format audit report became examinable so make sure that your study material is up to date on that topic too

If you feel that it’s necessary to use a study text (I don’t personally believe that it is necessary) then you should be substantially ok with that 2017 material

What would be of greater benefit in my opinion is a copy of the last 2 exams (September and December 2017) with answers and a really thorough reading and re-reading of a revision kit by a reputable publisher

Also read the last 10 technical articles and the 2 or 3 most recent examiner’s reports

And if you’ve any further questions, post again on this forum and I shall get back to you

    OK?
