Hi,
I have signed up to an online course, however have notice this has all the lectures. Will this cover the entire F5 course and does it therefore not seem worth signing up to online lectures elsewhere as well?
Thanks,
AbiDecember 14, 2015 at 2:34 pm #291727Our lectures cover everything you need to pass the exam well.
Download our free Study Guide for Paper F5, which has links to all of the lectures and details of the best questions to attempt.
(Do buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers. They contain lots of exam standard questions to practice on, and practice is vital.)

December 16, 2015 at 3:39 pm #292000Sir, which calculator is to be used for all acca papers?
December 16, 2015 at 5:03 pm #292020You can use any calculator you want (provided it is silent!).
However, you must have a scientific calculator for some of the papers.
(Some people find scientific calculators more messy to use for ordinary things like simply adding up – if that applies to you then by all means you can take both into the exams, a simple calculator and a scientific one 🙂 )The functions you will need for some of the papers (F5: F9; P4; P5) are to be able to calculate (for example):
the fifth root of 200
580 to the power -0.234
log 0.80Any scientific calculator will have buttons that will enable you to do these.
December 21, 2015 at 8:33 pm #292369Sir please can I rely solely on the notes from open tuition for my f5?…do I need supplementary notes from elsewhere?
December 22, 2015 at 7:15 am #292437Our free lecture notes are meant to be used with our free lectures – not on their own.
If you watch our lectures, using the notes, then it is a complete course and covers everything you need to be able to pass the exam well.
First you should download our free Study Guide, which links to all of the lectures and suggests the best questions to practice.
Preferably you should also buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers because they contain lots of extra exam standard questions, and the more you practice the better.December 22, 2015 at 10:33 am #292486Hi,
Are the December 2015 F5 Notes suitable for the March 2016 Exams? Or is there any changes to the syllabus?
I’m hoping to print down the notes and lectures over the next few weeks to get some under my belt.
December 23, 2015 at 6:58 am #292590There are no syllabus changes for March 2016, and so the existing notes and lectures are fine 🙂
December 30, 2015 at 3:29 pm #293040Thanks very much, Will download them now so 🙂
December 30, 2015 at 5:55 pm #293056You are welcome 🙂
January 13, 2016 at 5:10 pm #294403Hi John,
I have the Kaplan Complete Text and Exam Kit (1 September 2014 to 31 August 2015) for Paper F5.
Would I still be able to use them for the March 2016 sitting?
January 13, 2016 at 6:35 pm #294431Yes, there has been no change to the syllabus.
If you are watching our free lectures then you only really need the Revision Kit – our lectures are a complete course and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well. Do download our free Study Guide which includes a complete study Programme with links to the lectures and all of our other free resources.
