Intangibles can only be recognised if they are separable or arise from legal/contractual rights
The backlog of orders results from a contractual relationship with a customer and can be recognised as an intangible
There is no contractual right in respect of the use of the water. So we can only recognise this intangible if it could be sold separately. It cannot so no intangible will be recognised.
