sir in this question’s 5)a) only 1 mark is allocated per point, to my utter dismay. However I wrote only 3 bullet points and consequently explained them in the notes, assuming 2mark/point policy.

Would that approach helped me get 6marks? or I would have gotten 3marks only as the marking scheme says so?

Or there is a catch that I am unaware of- like all questions involving slides carry 1 mark/point, is there anything like that?

When you are doing the real, exam, you will not be aware if the marking scheme so you will NEVER be sure how many ‘points’ to make. Work out what time you have available and write the fullest most professional answer you can. If in doubt, budget 2 marks per point is 0.5 for the point, 1.5 for full explanation.

I will answer no more queries on mark allocation. Stop obsessing about it.
