I’m planning to self study LW now but are indecisive between two variants. Please recommend me with one.

What are your long-term plans? If there is any chance that you may want to practice as an auditor in the UK sometime in the future, then English variant is the one to choose – you can’t get a practising certificate to practise in England unless you have passed English Law and UK Taxation papers as your variants.

If you have no intention of working in UK, the choice is yours.

Global variant looks more closely at UN Law and that could be useful where you work in an internationally active company. English law looks more closely at the law of contracts.

From a personal perspective, if work location is not an issue for you, I would recommend English Law. Why? Because the Global variant is very dry whereas the English variant is much more fun! But that’s maybe just the way I deliver the different variants

Whichever you choose, I shall (hopefully!) be here to answer any and all of your questions if you post on this page – I check the page every day so I should be able to give you a timely response

    OK?

Wow! Thanks a ton. That’s a really helpful recommendation.
I’m currently not planning to work in the UK so maybe I am more open to other variants. But after some other Internet searches, I also find that the ENG variant should be easier to absorb and I will go with this variant.

    Appreciatively.
