while calculating the EPS for tidded co, why arent we adding 204k shares(the shares we gained in original bid) to the 90m but we use it to calculate the market value of shares
sorry 105k shares that is 90m*5/3
I do not really understand what you are meaning.
The initial bid was rejected and so Louieed has not yet issued any new shares.
If the new bid is accepted and the takeover goes ahead, the shares in Tidded will be cancelled and the shareholders of Tidded will either get cash of will get 2 x 90 = 180m shares in Louieed.
