Hello,
is it allowed to abbroviate the words in CBE AA (F-8) exam?
There are too many words to write)) If the spelling mistakes can be the reason of loss of marks?
Hi Irina,
You will not lose marks directly due to spelling mistakes, however your answer should be clear and understandable to the marker, and spelling mistakes and abbreviations will reduce this. Ideally your answers will be in full sentences.
If you are using an abbreviation which the average person wouldn’t know, you should use the full word/phrase first and then put the abbreviation in brackets after. After you’ve done this you can use the abbreviation later on in your answer instead of the full word/phrase.
For example:
“The Audit and Assurance exam (AA) is one of the Skills Papers in the ACCA qualification. AA is mostly a discursive paper”
Thanks
