Hi.. I want some help in studying for PM or F5 as this is my first exam.. Though I have knowledge of the subject I am so scared as I work from 10am to 8pm and it’s hard for me to find time. I haven’t been able start with the subject. I would love some push or timetable of sorts to help me start as only 40days remaining for exam.. And am only writing one subject this March.
January 17, 2019 at 5:01 pm #502495I am a qualified CA Intermediate. But still am simply scared as I am not able to find time to study as I want to ace this exam, kindly help. Please.
January 18, 2019 at 8:21 am #502553Obviously in order to pass the exam you do need to find time to study – it is not an easy exam.
Everything needed to pass the exam is covered in my free lectures (and lecture notes). You need to make yourself a timetable by looking at the contents page of the lecture notes and speaking them over the days and times that you have available.
You need to make sure that you spread them over less than 40 days because you must leave the equivalent of at least a week to practice all the questions in your Revision Kit – practice at exam standard questions is vital to passing the exam. If you do not have a Revision Kit then you should buy one quickly from one of the ACCA approved publishers (BPP or Kaplan). If you really have so little time to study, it may be worth considering delaying your exam to June instead of March.
January 19, 2019 at 9:32 am #502657Thank you.. Could you kindly tell me how many days it might take to complete the entire portion in case I study the whole day.. I am planning on taking study leave.. So just wanted to know how many days I should avail leave. Approximately.
January 19, 2019 at 11:11 am #502670If you look at the times against each of the lectures then you will see that in total there are about 15 hours of lectures. However it is impossible for me to say how long it will take you because some of the topics you might pick up immediately but others you might find harder and need to watch the lecture again.
I would certainly take at least a weeks study leave if that is possible.January 20, 2019 at 4:24 pm #502808Thank you so much sir.
January 20, 2019 at 4:50 pm #502810You are welcome 🙂
