When Im revising for questions, I tend to do them with the answers, i look at where the figures are coming from and work them out. Also rather than putting them in my own words, i write what is written in the book. Is this a bad technique? it has worked very well for me so far but im bit apprenhensive about it.
as long as this technique works well for you, there is no problem.
If you don’t look at solutions when you can’t solve a question, you will waste lots of time searching for it yourself. So it’s good to rather check how it is solved and them returned back to it after a while and try to work ito ut yourself.
As for essay answers, well, the problem with copying from books is that your knowledge won’t be flexible enough in case if exam question will ask you for something slightly different then what you were copying.
However if by practicing this way you understand each sentence, what is this and that for. ..if it all makes sense to you, then just go on.
good luck with your exam.
Thank you ansi, appreciate your reply, I think i need to tailor it for each subject.
