Hi John,
It looks like I chose the wrong optimum point in the F5 exam earlier by not using my ruler to check the furthest parallel optimum point.
The question was split into 14 marks – work out profit maximising output and 6 marks work out slack.
On the first question how many marks do you think I would get for doing everything right up until the choice, then choosing the optimum point incorrectly, but then using this wrong point correctly in the simultaneous equations and profit calculation? Out of 14?
Thanks

June 6, 2014 at 5:40 pm #174753Hi,
That was my first ACCA exam and I just realised that I drew the graph in pencil then forgot to go over it in pen. Does that mean the graph wont be marked?
Thanks,

Hi John
I have taken the hours for my equations in linear programming F5 instead of minutes. Does that mean I will loose marks because of this?
Thanks
June 7, 2014 at 10:46 am #174957Don’t worry – I am sure they will still mark it.
June 7, 2014 at 10:48 am #174959Well if you made a mistake then you will lose marks.
However don’t worry – if that was all you did wrong you won’t lose many marks.
