Please can some one tell me how you know which product to put on which axis, is there a rule for what goes to the x axis and which one to y as it seems to not stay consistent in the bpp revision book ? And I don’t want to get the optional point or feasible region incorrect

In linear Relationship (y=a+bx)
Y – is a dependent variable, depending on its values on X.
X – is independent veritable, whose values help to determine value of Y.Hi thanks for that but I don’t see how I still know which one to put on axsis and which on y as if there is two products which seem to have same details but different quantities etc which is the dependant one and which is independent variable – I meant which product out of two goes on which axsis – I can’t see (maybe being thick) any difference that would suggest one was independent and one wasn’t ? Thank you
@Mo why dont you solve the question both ways and see if there is a difference in the answer that will clear the confusion i guess
if variables x and y are given and only demand or usage restriction is x than take x as horizental ,,,,and if 2 or more restrictions are given than take any point for x and y,,,,,
for feasible area u have to plot right functions like X is less than or equal to or x is greater or equal to,,,if more than 2 restrictions
are givenHe is right if there are 2 products or materials taking them on any axis doesn’t matter (i just tried it both give same answers) 🙂
I asked on ask the tutor before you suggested I try both and mr Moffat said it doesn’t matter either Ahmed- think you are going to pass!

HI I can imagine it is awful, I only do two at a time – all i can do with work. F4 was much easier than I imagined – I just listened to the lectures over and over and read technical articles – listened to the lecturers advise of don’t write anything but just keep reading so that in time you can predict what is coming next – if that is any help.
good luck- you must spend hours studying having to do three.Yeah sometimes i feel i am high studying overnight 😛 The drug of studies has struck me. F9 is a bit technical otherwise the rest are fine
