Can you please assist me in drawing a linear graph. The question is:
Describe the relationship between the output and costs in the form of a linear equation.

    Thanks

    The equation is y=10,000 + 100x

    fixed cost is 10,000

variable cost is 100 per unit

    total cost is therefore 110,000

You seem to have answered your own question (or I am not understanding what you are asking)

The total costs are always equal to the fixed costs plus the total variable costs.

Here, the fixed cost is 10,000 (however many units are produced).
The variable cost is 100 per unit, and to the total variable cost for x units is 100x.

The total cost is only 110,000 if the production (x) is 1,000 units.

I am not sure why you want to draw the graph. You cannot be asked to draw it in Paper F2.

The reason why I was asking if I have to draw a linear graph because I notice that the Interactive text book has examples with graph illustrations. Thanks for your help in knowing that I would not have to draw a graph.

Because I thought that I have to show my answer using a graph as illustration.

No – you will not be asked to draw a graph in F2.
(However do make sure that you understand the graph because there could be questions where a graph has been drawn for you and you have to prove you understand it.)

    Good Night

I am here doing some practice questions for Debit and Credit entries.

    1. Received rent bill of $700 from landlord G.

    2. Paid Rent of $700 to landlord G.

What will be the answers? These two entries confusing me.

Please – this question is nothing to do with linear equations for F2. In future please start a new thread in the correct forum if it is a different topic.

    No problem 🙂

(PS I have just noticed – you said ‘Good Night’ in your original question. I think we must be on a different time zone because it is a gorgeous afternoon here :-)))) )
