    gn johnmoffat I am looking at the updated pilot paper for f3. Question 2 in section B. I need so explanation for the accrual adjustment

    that is the energy cost

    need to understand 2/3 x150000. Question is very long to post. thank you

    The company year end is 31 October.

    In December they received an invoice for 3 months to end of November – i.e. September, October and November.

    So at the 31 October they had not paid for September and October so they need to accrue for 2 months.

    The bill was for 3 months, and so for 2 months it is 2/3 x 15,000

    There are no changes to the syllabus – only to the format. You should have received a student accountant email from the ACCA which gave all the details.
    However you can also find them on the following page of this website:
