Dear sir,
Could you give me some roles and duties of the board of directors in a limited company?
All you need to know about this for Paper F3 is what I explain in my lectures. i.e. that the directors are appointed by the shareholders to manage the businesses. They are employees of the business and they are responsible for running the business for the benefit of the shareholders and to provide the shareholders and other stakeholders with information as to the performance of the business in the annual financial statements.
There are many legal responsibilities, but these are not relevant until Paper F4 – the law exam.
