Life cycle costing and target costing are mutually exclusive excercises in planning the life cycles of new product?
Ans is false
Explain this please.
They are not mutually exclusive. That would mean it has to be just one and not the other, whereas both exercises can be used together.
If you watch my free lectures on life cycle costing then you will see that I work through an example showing how both techniques can be used together.
