Hi to everybody here and thanks for reading my question. I am currently unemployed and living at home. I want advice on where you think I should study,Local College Library or at home? At the moment I feel very isolated and have very little motivation to study on my own in my bedroom, however I have everything set up here ie. my laptop, notes, pens, access to internet and printer etc. If I study at home I will not have to travel etc, it seems very convenient. However, I feel depressed here as I have no reason to get up and get dressed or even leave the house, If i was to go to the library I would have to bring my laptop, notes etc, and walk with all my stuff for about 20 mins, however I would be getting out of the house. So far I have not studied here in my room and have tried the library for a couple of hours with no success. I just feel like I need to decide, commit to a location and crack on. I am very confused at the moment and any sort of advice would really mean a lot to me. Where do you study?

You can read a case study of one guy who is working from home and he asked about advice how to study at home while working in same place. Even there my advice was to study and work in separate rooms.
You can read whole threade here
https://opentuition.com/topic/f6-f7-study-planschedule/For you it’s even more clear. Your body, brain is probably used to (‘trained’) that in your bedroom you sleep or rest (or just a place to escape from everything). Also it seems your mental attitude is currently not favorable toward studying. So I don’t think your bedroom will be a good environment for study or any other room in your home.
You have to be aware that you will face hard times during your studying. Studying ACCA is not easy so might even deepen your state.
Secondly you might find many distractions at your home. Thirdly might feel tempted to abandon studying and lurking back to bedroom.
Apply a routine and be consistent: get up at similar time, go out, 20 min walk, into library to study for a certain amount of time.
Soon your brain and body will be tuned that you are not joking and you are really serious about this going out to study. Might sound silly but this is how it works. The question is why there was no success in studying in library? Maybe lack of consitency.
I self studied at home. But I know people who could effectively study in local cafes.
