Lectures Notes

Hello!

I have just stumbled upon the exciting world of tax and my first job is to download a copy of the lecture notes.

I have located the ‘FA2018’ lecture notes which appear to relate to the June2019 onwards syllabus (confusingly for me, as why ‘2018’?). I am looking at the first couple of pages of the lectures notes and I notice the tax allowances relate to the tax year 2018/19 so I am wondering if these are updated notes for this years syllabus? I did assume these would be based on the current (i.e. 2019/20 rates) but I am quite possibly wrong.

Would you mind clarifying before I print out the lecture notes? I will be aiming to take my exam in September.
