Hello.
I noticed that although there are 2 lectures for chapter 8, there does not seem to be a lecture(s) covering exercises 4 (Other mix variances – Sales mix) and exercise 5 (Activity Based Costing Variances).
I was just wondering if they exist but have been left off the site by mistake, or shall I just work through the lecture notes only on these questions.

Hi, thanks for your question.
The notes and lectures on here give a good broad coverage of the P1 syllabus which should be sufficient to pass the objective test exam. However they don’t intend to cover every area or to replace a good quality exam question practice kit.
Sales mix variances and activity based costing variances are examinable and your exam kit should cover these in sufficient depth.
We may look to update our notes for this technical area in future.
