    why only do calculations for,
    – N.C assets
    -Profit on disposal
for the statement of cash flows?

what about the other changes? i can see the note outlining circumstances and changes to the depreciation and the sale of non-current assets but what about the dividends?

Firstly, you must in future ask in the Ask the Tutor if you want me to answer – this forum is for students to help each other.

You need to do workings for anything you need that is not given in the question. If not all the information about non-current assets is given then we need to do workings as I have done in the lecture. This is not a Statement of cash flow problem – it is something that could be asked as a question all on its own.

What about the dividends? What is needed for the statement is the dividends paid, and they are given in the question! There are no workings needed.

The only workings you are likely to need are those for the non-current assets, but even these are not always needed – it depends what information is given in the question.
