Now THAT is a really interesting question
IAS 16 — Property, Plant and Equipment
or
IFRS 16 — Leases
I have never previously noticed any close relationship between Property, Plant and Equipment and Leases – at least not so close as to be considered interchangeable!
Possibly a better question would have been “For the syllabus of f7 for leases, is it IAS 17 or IFRS 16?”
IAS 17 no longer exists so it would be a strange examiner that asked a question on the old standard
IFRS 16 is the only Leases standard that is in the F7 syllabus
OK?
