    Hi can someone please explain how to calculate out 0.343= r^3 to give me the value of r it’s supposed to be 0.70

    The question is part of dec 2014 exam section B Q1

    If r^3 = 0.343, then r = the third root of 0.343

    You must have a scientific calculator with you for the F5 exam, and if you do then it will have a button for the third (cubed) root.

    I tried that and got 0.59409…..
