    t’s learning rate question and given that first 10units take 100hour time and from 10-30units it further take another 150 hours time ,so what’s the learning rate?

    Please help

    Why are you attempting a question for which you do not have an answer? You should be using a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers – they have answers and explanations.

    The first batch of 10 units takes 100 hours.
    If they make another 30 units they will then have made 40 units or 4 batches of 10 units. The total time for 4 batches is 100 + 150 = 250 hours. So the average time per batch is 250/4 = 62.5 hours.

    Given that making 4 batches involves doubling twice, the learning rate = square root (62.5/100) = 0.79 (or 79%).
