Sir,
I was trying to get familiarize with the CBE features like the in-build scientific calculator and my own calculator.
Unfortunately I do not know what to press to get the learning curve rate 0.343 = R^3.I mean R raised to the power of 3 .
I know it using my phone calculator r = 0.70 or 70%. I enter 0.343 and press the 3rd root .But we are not allow to use our phone on that day.
Can you help please?
November 23, 2020 at 10:28 am #596125You press the keys in the following order:
‘3’ , ‘2nd’ , ‘^’ , ‘0.343’ , ‘enter’.
(the green button marked ‘2nd’ means that for the next key you choose it does what it printed in green above the next key)
I hope that all makes sense 🙂
November 24, 2020 at 6:13 pm #596323Unfortunately after following the order still can not get 0.7.
i did click 3 then 2nd (green like button) then ^ , then click on 0.343 and finally clicked on enter.

(The ‘^’ key is the one immediately above the ‘x squared’ key)December 8, 2020 at 11:35 am #598388Thank you sir, Though i now got it , but in TI – 30 ECO RS Calculator. There is no ( ^ ) function to get the 3 root of 0.343.
December 8, 2020 at 3:25 pm #598426Different calculators need different key presses in different orders. You are going to have to look in the manual that came with your calculator to find out what to do. (If you have lost the manual then you should be able to find it by searching for the model number on Google.)
