Tabular approach and algebraic approach?
in algebraic approach how to calculate logr/log2 using scientific calculator?August 14, 2020 at 10:23 am #580519If you have a scientific calculator then it will have a button on it marked ‘log’ and that button will calculate the log.
The order in which you press the buttons depends on which calculator you have. On Some calculators you press the ‘log’ key first and then the number. In other calculators you press the number first and then the ‘log’ key. You will have to check in the manual that came with your calculator (if you have lost it then type the model number in Google and you will be able to find it).
However, as I state in my lectures, you have never needed this in any past exam questions because the question has always told you the value of ‘b’. (Although the examiner is entitled to ask you to calculate it).
Have you watched my free lectures on learning curves? The lecture are a complete free course for Paper PM and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
