Hello please help me out with this too
The first item of the product took 3000 hours to manufacture at a labour cost of 25 per hour .an 80% learning cure was to apply and it was anticipated that the learning curve would end when 30 it’s have been produced
What is the standard labour cost to include in the standard about cost card
You need to calculate the time for the 30th units. You do this by calculating the total time to produce 30 units (using the formula) and subtract the total time to produce 29 units (again, using the formula).
I work through a very similar example in my free lectures. The lectures are a complete free course for Paper F5 and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
