Hi,
I have a problem at finding how question 56 has been resolved, especially the calculation part.
How r^2 has been created, where does it come from?
Thank you
I haven’t got the question but i guess u r trying to calculate the learning rate..? i guess u are confused on this simple formula
Time for the first unit x Rate^no of times the output has been doubled = cumulative average time taken for the total output.
Is this what u are asking for so that i may further explain its logic.. or there is some other issue?
Dear nokia,
Thank you for your help. I found the origin of r squared on the forum, but thank you anyway.
I have another problem however, on the question 56 (same question).
on working no.2
we know that
Y=ax^b
where Y is the cumulative average time per unit to produce x units
x is the cumulative number of units
a is the time taken for the first unit of output
etc.
a=$30 had been worked out in working 1, I have no problem there.
the problem is on how they got x. I think x should be 30,000, but they said that x is equal to 3 . so, I beg your help at finding how they got 3 instead of 30,000.
thank you
