Hello professor, I have old book for study practise so I am studying and I found some topics in law of tort which I think have been removed. Please confirm.
    1. Tress pass to land
    2., Nuisance
    3. Defamation
    4. Deceit and Injurious falsehood
    5. Assault
    6. Battery
    7. False imprisonment.
Please confirm that all these seven are not part of syllabus anymore?

This is an extract from the ACCA Law paper syllabus

Section B4. The law of torts and professional negligence

    a) Explain the meaning of tort.[2]
    b) Explain the tort of ‘passing off’.[2]
    c) Explain the tort of negligence including the
duty of care and its breach, and the
    concept of vicarious liability.[2]
    d) Explain the meaning of causality and
    remoteness of damage.[2]
    e) Discuss defences to actions in
    negligence.[2]
    f) Explain and analyse the duty of care of
    accountants and auditors.[2]

None of the 7 detailed sub-topics is mentioned there!

Further to your earlier post re taking the exam in September … ‘up to and including 18 September follows the existing syllabus whereas after 20 September follows the revised syllabus.’

But note this – there will be no changes to the syllabus, neither for the English variant nor the Global variant

    All clear?
