At the begining of the year, a company had 3600 workers. During the year, 960 leave. At the end of the year, 280 workers employed.
What is the labour turnover rate ?March 14, 2015 at 9:37 am #232345You cannot have copied the question correctly.
If only 960 workers left, then there cannot possibly be only 280 employed at the end of the year!
March 14, 2015 at 2:26 pm #232372but that is how the question asked me during CBE F2 couple days ago.
it clearly stated at the question, beginning of the year, 3600, end of the year 280 and 960 left. is there any way to do this question ?March 14, 2015 at 5:33 pm #232391The question cannot possibly have said that 280 were employed at the end of the year.
If they started with 3,600 and 960 left, then it is impossible for there to have been only 280 remaining!!I am pretty certain that the question would have said that there were 2,800 left at the end of the year in which case the labour turnover rate would have been 5% (160/3200)
