Hi.

Is it possible to find the various labor variances (cost, efficiency and rate) without knowing the actual hours worked even though you have information on actual production, actual sales, standard hours, standard and actual material used?

Probably! But why are you asking? If you are referring to a past exam question (or a question from the BPP Revision Kit) then say which one, and what your problem is – I will then explain 🙂
