    Could you please explain what this statement is please it’s from Kaplan

    “ when all employees in a management accounting department must work harder to produce prompt budgetary control reports “

    And what does prompt budgetary control report means?

    ‘Prompt’ means quickly, or on time.

    Reports are only useful if they are up-to-date. If it was to take a few weeks to produce a report then it would not be as much use.
