Not long registered for acca, seeing as f1-3 can be taken at anytime I want to get the three done by the new year.

Instead of taking all three together, I’m going to study 3 months for 1 exam and the other 3 studying 2. Logic would say study F1 and F2 first, then spend 3 months doing F3.. Does this sound like a decent plan and an appropriate amount of study time? I am relying on Open Tuition material and Tony Surridge exam kit. And the rest of the open source material.

    Hi @Simon
I studied for about 2,5 months for F2 and F3 (together) and passed with OT resources, and some old Kaplan Text books.
Then I passed F1 with ca. 1 month of reading BPP text book and again OT materials.
A lot depends on your personality and studying skills. For me studying 3 months F3 only may become boring : )
There’s not much connection between F1-F2-F3, so you can choose any combination.

Thanks @sangria9 . What OT Resources did you use for the three exactly? And what were the years of your books?

All OT materials! Lectures, notes, mock exams, forums (as they contain a lot of practice questions).
    + technical articles at accaglobal.com

Books.. I believe 2009 for F2,F3 and 2011 for F1. But you should use very carefull old books (for F3 especially), as standards (IFRS) change regularly
