I know the examination technique articles tell you not to just vomit out everything you know on a topic onto the page for these, but the questions are that non-specific and looking at the model answers that’s exactly what it looks like you have to do!

I don’t think I’m even expecting an answer to that – just having a moan!

My poor beer addled brain seems to have lost the ability to retain any amount of information that isn’t a) interesting, b) useful or c) handy for the pub quiz, so alas I know nowhere near the whole syllabus so it will just come down to the luck of the draw tomorrow!

    Good luck everyone!

Well, what can I say? You may (hopefully) be pleasantly surprised about just how much you do retain. And don’t worry … it won’t stay in there for long. After about 6 weeks, you will have forgotten substantially all you ever did know. Which is a bit of a b*mm*r if you find out in August that you have failed.

    But let’s be positive 🙂

Get in there and do your best and if you find that you cannot answer a question in the manner which you would have liked then, sure, just vomit out what you can. It’s better than nothing at all and may just get you that one or two marginal marks which sees you over the finish line

    Good luck tomorrow

Tell me about it! It’s third time lucky for me with this exam, although the first two times were way back under the old syllabus (just reluctantly started studying again after several years’ break due to pressure at work to do so!) and I only failed by 2 or 3 marks and optimistically believe I’m much better prepared now than I was then (mainly thanks to your fantastic lectures!) so fingers crossed I can do it this time – just going to go in and get it done!

    Thanks again!

Incidentally – is it necessary to know the section numbers of the various Acts?
