    Hi John,

I wonder where is 524.4 is coming from. I got a hang of everything else.

I tried multiplying synergies into new PE ration but that didnt help

    Thanks a lot.

Conejo, i cant get my head around whats causing the changes in current assets after restructuring

I mean I do get it that 524 is the difference between post combined value and pre values of individual companies.

But is that the only way to determine the 524. It seems like in the answer the synergy was calculated somehow independently without going in all the calculation. Thanks

I don’t know which answer you are looking at, but the synergy is always the difference between the post-acquisition value and the combined pre-acquisition value. That is what the examiners answer has done and has done all the calculations for arriving at the post and pre acquisition values.
