Kaplan Study Text vs Open tuition lectures

Hello,

My Kaplan study text for the AAA module has over 500 pages worth of content. Are the 8 hours of lectures available on open tuition along with the notes, a substitute for these vast study texts from learning providers?

I have purchased the exam kit, therefore would a good approach be to ignore the study text and focus on open tuition lectures/notes then practice exam questions/past papers?
