I am going to take f5,7,9. I am ICAP student so get other f level papers exempted,so this is the first time i am going to take acca exams and that too by self study.
they say for dec 2014 sitting the same books are going to be acceptable with a booklet also to be published focused only on changes. is it right. and also a simple question what kit is for. can i do the same with past papers and suggested answers or they also do some extra help.

It depends which edition of the books you have.
Certainly if you have books for the June 2014 exams, then the only change in the syllabuses for December is the addition of IAS 41 in Paper F7. Papers F5 and F9 do not change.
The formats/(layout) for all three exams will be different in December – they will include multiple choice questions, but that does not affect what you need to learn.

Although the Exam Kits do include past questions that you can download from the ACCA website, they also include a lot of additional exam standard questions, and it is important not just to learn the topics but to practice as many questions as possible.
he only problem with using old Exam Kits is that they will not contain examples of multiple choice questions.
